Where It All Began
Our story started in 1981, in the UK, when first-time parents David and Luisa Scacchetti were preparing for the arrival of their daughter. Like many new parents, they searched for products that were stylish, practical, and high-quality — but they couldn’t find what they were looking for. So, they took matters into their own hands and created Mamas & Papas: a brand built by parents, for parents.
From those early days, the goal was clear — to offer thoughtfully designed baby products that blend beautiful aesthetics with everyday functionality. Products that make a real difference in the lives of real families.
Designed by Parents, Made for Families
Every Mamas & Papas product is designed in-house at our UK headquarters in Huddersfield, England. Our design team, many of whom are parents themselves, pour their insights and experience into everything we create — from ergonomic pushchairs and car seats, to cozy nursery furniture, charming baby clothing, and engaging early learning toys.
We obsess over the small details so you don’t have to — like how a stroller folds with one hand, or how a crib fits perfectly in your space. It’s these everyday innovations that help make parenting just a little easier.
