PRODUCT INFORMATION
The Cybex Aton 5 Stardust Black car seat is a group 0+ car seat suitable from birth up to approximately 18 months (0-13kg). Made in Germany and compatible with numerous strollers, the Aton 5 is part of Cybex's GOLD range.
Flat lying position for sleeping:
The Aton 5 shell was designed in collaboration with German doctors and midwives. This shell allows for the flattest possible lying angle between the head, neck, and chest, reducing the risk of respiratory difficulties. Ideal for transporting newborns whose neck muscles and reflexes are not yet fully developed. The seating angle adjusts automatically by adjusting the headrest (8 positions), accommodating the baby's growth and providing greater comfort for larger infants. The padded seat insert is height-adjustable and attached to the headrest.
Linear Side-impact Protection:
The Linear Side-impact Protection System (L.S.P. System) absorbs forces generated by a side-impact at a very early stage. This system enhances safety levels in the event of a side collision by absorbing forces along with head and shoulder protectors.
Adjustable headrest:
With 8 height positions and an integrated harness guide, the harness length adjusts automatically when the headrest is adjusted. This prevents misuse and facilitates easy installation of the baby in the shell.
Compatible with multiple strollers:
The Aton 5 shell can be installed on Cybex strollers (Onyx, Topaz, Callisto), as well as many other strollers from different brands with adapters.
3-point harness:
The Y-shaped harness features extra-wide straps, a soft belt, and crotch pad for added comfort.
Car installation - rear-facing:
The shell can be installed using the car's 3-point seat belt or with the Cybex Aton Base 2 Fix (sold separately).
