When fitted to the hinge side of the door, these flexible, transparent strips, provide a finger trap barrier from the floor up to a height of 120cm, and help prevent children suffering injury caused by fingers and hands being shut in the hinge side of a door. Each pack contains one wide strip and one narrow strip to cover the hinge gap on both sides of the door. Once fitted, the door can still open to 110 degrees. The wide strip is for fitting to the side where the hinge is not visible when the door is closed, and the narrow strip fits to the other side where the hinge is still visible when the door is closed. The strips are self-adhesive, but can also be screwed in place if required.
