Natural response teats from Philips Avent for newborn - Combine with breastfeeding
The Natural Response teat from Philips Avent is designed to resemble a breast. This makes the dummy familiar for the child to eat from. The teat only releases milk when the child actively drinks from it. When the child stops to breathe, the teat does not release any milk. This makes these teat heads from Natural Response ideal for combining with breastfeeding as it adapts to the child’s natural sucking rhythm.
The Philips Avent Natural Response is designed to reduce colic and discomfort for the child. The dummy has an anti-colic valve that is designed to keep air out of the baby’s stomach during feeding.
The teats’ size has an effect on the flow of liquid that comes out of the bottle. This means that the smaller the teat is, the harder the child has to suck for liquid to come out.
Pay close attention to wear. It is a good idea to regularly check that the teat head is in good condition. Byhappyme recommends changing the teat approx. every 4-6 weeks.
The Philips Avent Response bottles and dummies are made of BPA-free materials.
